Buildings is a sequence of photos on which I have been working for more than four
years. My intention is to highlight the changing nature of Albanian cities and their complex urban reality and express their sudden rise and development as areas of consumption adapted into habitats. The photos deliberately document the journey on the main road linking two major cities like Durres and Tirana. These images are the homes of many ‘houses’ that are found along this route of 40 miles. The represented places became a metaphysical synthesis, а disturbing absence of concrete shells that tell, with icy immediacy, the tragic essence of the modern man.
